Why we built Local
Local businesses make neighborhoods special. The coffee shop that knows your name, the locally-grown vegetables from the farmer's market, the bakery that bakes your favorite cinnamon roll—these businesses thrive on relationships and repeat customers, not transactions.
We built Local to give these local businesses a simple way to say "thanks for coming back," without the complexity, cost, or headaches that come with the existing options. We were tired of losing partially-filled punch cards for our favorite places, and we didn't want to install an app for every business we support. So we built Local as an alternative, because we believe that you shouldn't need to be a nation-wide chain to grow your business.
